Default Replacement for an old 9.6v 650 mah

I have a foamy with a 9.6v 650 mah battery in it. I am having a hard time finding additional batteries so I can fly more than once.. Most of the new batteries are 2s 7.4 v or 3s 11.1.. can I use one of these?

Umm, love Google. http://www.batteryspace.com/96vbatterypackseries.aspx

As for using a lipo instead, well your esc is most likely not able to be set for lipo cut off, so either timed flights or buy a new esc.
You'd also need a lipo charger/balancer.

On 3S more then likely you'll fry your motor and possible esc with the higher voltage
On 2S little less power then initial on the original pack, but less of a voltage drop over the flight.

Lipos also don't suffer from voltage drain anywhere near what your pack does. You can charge it a day or two ahead of time and it's ready to go, unlike having to top off charge your pack if charged a few days prior.

With the costs these days, you may want to look into a brushless motor combo and lipo, will make a world of difference in how your plane performs.

Hello Sir,
Very happy to clarify my doubt wit u. Kindly i request u to clarify my doubt.

Actually i bought a Rc Plane (F4u Corsairhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/New-F-4U-COR...-/380670142602)last week.
On this plane, the inbuilted battery was (AAA9.6V 650mAh Ni-Mh Rechargeable Batteryhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/9-6V-650mAh-...item41622de4e5).

So, My Problem with this above battery drains soon (within 2mins). But its a new one and charged for 12 hours. No use of it.
Wat ll be the problem? Is there any charging directions and using directions for this Battery? And,

Can i use (AA 9.6V 1800MAH Ni-MH Rechargable Battery Packhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-AA...item257fceb100)battery instead of that one on my Rc plane.? Wat ll happen when i use this battery?

Will it improves the usage time?

If it improves, Will it harm my RC PLANE?

Please clarify my doubt. I am struck with this one.
