err...its too low to be a rally car. You could maybe just throw on some better tires to go off road...

Here's a picture of Deans Plugs (on motor and battery)

This is how I found out how to install them

http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lan...eans-plugs.asp

The link for the Deans website is:

Good Luck!

Just finished my first real body! I say first because with the first real one, I didn't mask anything off and just used black. Of course, it's on my TT-01...What do you think? Any recommendations for my next one?

Find out if your LHS cuts comms...some will do it for free and some will do it for $3-$5.

Looks very nice and neat.....all you need now is window tint. That would be a real good finish.
Good Luck

Thanks

Do people actually waste money on window tint? Why not just use transparent paint?

About The Brushes, Just Buy new ones. I'm Pretty Sure tower Hobbies has them, they have everything.

Window tint basically is transparent Black/Grey paint, so you can use that.

I just got my TT01 the other night. Put it together according to the manual and not even 10 minutes later the stock 61t spur gear was torn to ****. Any suggestions? I'm sure the stock plastic shaft had something to do with it. The damn thing at full speed was getting bent from being at max rpm's. I was able to clean up the stock 61t spur and managed to put it back on with the stock 19t pinion. But it now sounds like crap. As if the pinion is pushing on the spur too hard, but i have it at stock specks. So what gives? Before this i had my set up on my HPI Sprint and i have to say it ran a hell of a lot better than my tt01. Is it the car maybe? I went online today and ordered the aluminum shaft and 70t spur gear. Maybe that'll help. who knows. Can someone please tell me the best way to set up this gear ratio business....please.

Got a tt-01 yesterday... bit sparse on the pics, but have it running and it is more than what I expected for the price, although it is my first large scale car, lol... Havn't had a chance to paint the body yet, as it actually snowed today, but did redo the wiring a bit... chopped all the esc wires and resoldered them, couldn't stand have a few feet of extra wiring danglin around, lol. It just needs deans plugs to complete the current setup, I know I have a set laying around somewere...

Cutting out a lexan shell for the first time was quite an experience, took a lot of self control not to do anything silly the kit was a fun build though, didn't take too long at all.

While running it on the street, noticed it looks like it needs oil shocks... if you drop it from a few inches it acts quite like a pogo stick, lol..

Seems to have pretty good power, can spin the tires if you hit the throttle up a bit, but I have nothing to compare the stock tires with so don't know how bad they're grip is....

Also have the bearings and alu prop shaft... Spent about $175 for everything, other than tx and servo since I had those laying around, including the pack and a new nimh charger, so as I said before quite happy.

Has hpi TE-37 rims, and the Suby body will be painted black.

I like to type a lot about a little sometimes

After clocking the tt-01 I decided to put the 9 turn in my bandit for some high power off road fun. Well it was heaps of fun till it munched the main gear hahaha Then I got carried away and put the 9 turn back in the tt01 for some rally driving. That also was heaps of fun till sand managed to get inside and munch the gears

Dont take yout tt01 offroad !

Dont put a 9 turn in a bandit !

Not everybody rides in the sand...when you mention rally everyone thinks "Dirt".

I would hope not....although I did not make that clear. You are very correct as to the "transparent paint", you get to choose your own tint color. Thanks for pointing that out as someone might have tried to apply that.

Thanks

Thanks for catching that, I would hope not......I should have stated about the transparent paint as some might try the real window tint which would be harder and also you get to choose your own tint at a much cheaper cost.

Thanks

Who rallys in the sand? Ive never seen a rally race in the sand. Rally is in the dirt!
