RE: Video Maintenance and Mods for your Himoto
I bought one spring at the hardware shop for the brake mod and it works great. Now I just have to go back and buy another one... I think the zip tie on the exhaust will solve my problem of it coming off and the Viper manifold looks good. I'll have to get one when I have the money.

RE: Video Maintenance and Mods for your Himoto
You may want to try McMaster Carr for shims. They have 5x10 shims in thicknesses of .1, .2, .3 and .5mm in plain steel. Go to [link=http://www.mcmaster.com]http://www.mcmaster.com[/link] and search for "98055A09" and look in the middle of page 3200 in the catalog. You will see 98055A095, 96, 97 and 98. They are between $6 and $8 for 50 pieces! For the smaller shims, the best match is 0.206"ID (5.2mm) and 0.310"OD (7.9mm) in thicknesses of .003, .005, .007 and .01" (between .08mm and .25mm). For those, search for "93574A425". When you order, specify the thickness you want, and it will give you part numbers 93574A430, 32, 34 and 36 for the 4 different thicknesses. These come in 18-8 stainless and are about $8 for 25 pieces! Both of these are super cheap compared to the RC parts. And McMaster has warehouses all over the US, so your shipping is not bad, and delivery is super quick. Also, if you work at a manufacturing plant of any kind, they may have daily deliveries from McMaster at no cost that you can take advantage of.

Bk.....Dude!......You are the MAN!
I have been searching all the online RC vendors trying to find ONE place to buy all the different sized shims.....(Save on the Shipping Costs, you Know?)
No Can Do! No single vendor has the variety I (WE) need.......
This is a Great Find.....Thanks BK!....CHEAP too!
P.S. It sort of annoys me that I have a McMaster Carr Catalog on my Desk at work, but never thought about looking for Shims there.....DOH!....My Bad.....
