Arthur,

I have a bunch of stuff I could give you.

How much do you think it will cost to ship it to Russia?

I have engines, radios, and a whole lot of balsa, plus built wings ect.

I would need to know what you'd need, and then I'll see what it cost to ship it.

Can anyone else help with this info?

About the price do not know! Try to see the payment in American Hobby stories !
I think post-office - 30-50$, courier - 100$ !!!

dioncuda-thanks.

Arthur- PM me with the address for shipping, and I'll see if it's do-able. I got a small package from China last year and it cost just short of 100.00 to ship!

Is there a Russian modeler out there who can help?

How much is R/C stuff where you live?

P.S. you English isn't so bad. Your spelling seems impeccable though.....

Anyone know anything about shipping anything over there? I don't have a clue....

Arthur, If I were to address a package, exactly how would the address read? I need the exact address as if you were getting a letter in the mail.

I have things I would gladly donate, but hate to spend a bunch and have it dissapear somewhere between Ohio, U.S.A. and Russia.

What about ordering things online?
Does Tower ship to Russia? Hobby Lobby?

I know there are some good companies in the Eastern Bloc countries.

Come on folks, a little help here.

tower does ship to russia

International destinations other than Canada: Tower Hobbies can ship orders just about anywhere in the world (for a list of countries we do not serve, click here). Please note that the best way to order is to use your credit card for payment.

Our international postage charges are based on the size and weight of the package(s). To determine the cost of shipping to an International destination simply place the items you wish to order in your shopping cart and click on the "International Postage Calculator" link displayed toward the top of the page. You will then be prompted to enter a country and the postage charges for both Air Mail and Surface Mail will be displayed for the current order in your shopping cart. If restricted items are in your shopping cart the International Postage Calculator will not be displayed. Remove the restricted items prior to calculating the postage.

Local taxes and customs duties usually apply and are added once your shipment reaches its destination. Please see your local authorities for more information. Tower Hobbies does not know when additional charges such as additional brokerage fees will apply. These additional charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Refused or returned shipments in which Tower Hobbies incurs additional shipping fees will be assessed on the return credit. Please do not request that we falsify your invoices or supress tariff codes or country-of-origin information.

Please refer to our list of products which are too large to ship outside of the US or Canada.

If you plan to mail or fax your order, download and print our international order form. (Requires Acrobat Reader, available free from Adobe.)

Countries Not Served by Tower Hobbies

Orders intended to ship to Afghanistan, Brunei, Comoros, Cuba, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Malaysia, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, or Syria are not accepted by Tower Hobbies.

Thanks Doahh-

Arthur, doesn't sound too promising- looks like you could get stuff from tower, but may have to add a bunch of money to the order for customs, ect. Could get very expensive that way.

Check your PM, I have a couple of ideas to get you started.

If your computer can handle it, I can send you links to my online RC videos. They are in .wmv format and any PC with Windows Media Player 9 can read them.

Gotta be someone from the RCU who live in Russia who can help here!

I've given Arthur some advice to get started but still wants me to send engine radio and plane!

I don't think it would get from Ohio to Russia in one piece, or to his house without many bribes!

Arthur, better to learn about planes and building before teaching yourself to fly.
