so this boat will be hitting the water when ? ..... early 2009 ?? I cant wait to see this build , i have cat plans , i think they could be the same ones, so i hope it goes well and i might learn about building problems of the boat during your build. A bit more tape on the cardboard boat would make it as good as some of the splashed hulls

A layer of fiberglass and it may be usable!

not to hijack your thread or knock your idea or anything, but there sure are a lot of dreamers on this section of the site. I dont post much but i cruise the forums a lot and i see a lot of people always talking about building there own and all this crap. Well ive rarely ever seen anyone finish them, espically when they try and start low buck and all. I hope you can break the cycle, ide like to see someone show that kind of dedication. good luck

by the way your passangers side window is missing its window flare

bentley the plans are complete as far as i know? the sheets are left to your own devices as are most boats .to build a boat all you need are the frames and once these are in place the sheeting takes care of itself.the cat is what id call a propper build (traditional) while the one weve built the deep v is kids play in comparison.

all the bits are there, they just havn`t trimmed the side bits down to fit the curves round the front of the boat, surely a simple bit like that are not hard to do, if they are i`d give up now if i was you

bentley,

did you get the new plans last night?

check out the floor section in that unreadable build site too, it's not in the plan, and looks a little strange.
