What do you think of the new site
Personally I think its awful, can't find my way around it and find it very difficult to post or access the areas I want, please go back to the old format.

Just give it some time to get used to it. Most people don't like change & immediately dislike things without giving them a REAL chance. Lots of people rubbished the old format because it had issues so this is the result, something new. Remember - minds are like parachutes, they only work when they are open!

Don't be afraid to say what you really think! I'm sure there will be problems (my #%^$! enter key won't work) but at least they appear to be listening. Remember, the dinosaurs didn't change & look what happened to them. Some people have no problems at all with the forum - or computers - or jets - or much of anything. When I think about this it can't be any more difficult than my transition from JR programming to Futaba! - John.

I'll reserve final judgements for a week from now and give them time to get things sorted. I do however shake my head at the amount of problems the new site has. I've seen bigger forums do huge upgrades smoother than this. Some will argue that for a free forum we have no right to complain and that may be true, but at the same time a forum without members isn't a forum so free or otherwise one would think they would focus more on a smooth transition. Some of the biggest issues such as the login problems have existed for four days now, that should have been one of the first issues they fixed. I personally hate the look, it's very drab and plain, but as I say, I'll reserve final judgement for a week from now.

site stinks .... everything is less convenient... it takes scrolling 1.5 pages to get to actual posts. posting pics if a multi - multi - multi step process . at that, picture quality once the pics show up is even worse than the lack of convenience (due to whatever stingy compression is being done ) ..
RCU has officially "jumped the shark" a wee, or a month wont make a difference, unless the whole site is moved to yet another entire platform.

I just don't get it. The look is awful with the muted colors and boring layout. The surfing is lame. Pics are lame. That about covers it, I guess. Maybe we'll all get used to it....

Honestly it feels like its gone back in time I couldn’t even get past logging on at first. Logged on but after that it kept asking me to log on and when I tried it sent me to my info page. Could not even report a bug up until now.
Its gota get better it cannot possibly get worse. Reply to thread not working have to use "Post quick Reply"

I don't think the default text size is big enough and they should have done way more testing before they released it to the masses. Generally not keen but have seen worse
