are you trying to use those mounts to put the stock engine on but then later use them for a different engine? i think the stock engine has the standard mounting points on the spline, so as long as those mounts can fit any other .12-.18 engine, i don't see why you can't use them. you should email kyosho and find out for sure.
Renault, that's a really good body to get speed and downforce, not to mention cooling for the engine.

Anybody still running these? The FW-06 is going sssooo cheap here.. I had an FW-05T, ran it into the ground over two years, then sold it... Great reliable car though..
I have a few questions:
1.) What're the differences from the 05T to the 06?
2.) What's the replacement going to be? There are so many of these things in Germany, I imagine parts will be around for a good while...
I can get a FW-06 for €194 including shipping.. I would prefer a 1/8 onroader, but a GT for ex would cost twice that....

What's the difference between the FW-06 and the SIII Evo Arta?
I think I've settled on a 1/10 Kyosho. Just a matter of which one. They both cost the same...

hey Jay! long time no talk. Last i ran my cars/truggy was in 2010 i think, and it was only a couple times. Been doing flying more than anything else for a few years, but even in 2012 i barely touched my RC's. Was preoccupied with other hobbies. But this season i'm actually making a return to RC cars and flying. Also, hoping to hit the RC track at NJ Motorsports Park, assuming it's worth the 50+ mile drive for me. I was there for their open house and tried one of my real life Evos on their road courses and it was fun. So this season i'm hoping to focus on real and RC cars. Still have all my stuff ready to go.
