Don't know if enough info is in these links or not, but worth a look anyway. Good luck.

Go to the link then click on the picture it get very large. It makes a great one to hang on the wall. I think the horizontal top view may be off a little though...

Thanks guys, much appreciated. We just need to trudge our way through all the different variants and colour schemes to find one we like. At the moment we quite like the one shown below but can't find any further info as yet.
Cheers,
Sym.

Just my opinion. If you are considering doing a 109. Why not do a F version. This opens up alot more options for the kit bashers to do several versions by adding their own buldges to the airframe. This way you have the ability to make a F-through the G-6 models. There are hundreds of color schemes to choose from then.

What Ty said.
The F's have a lot of possiblity and can easily be converted to just about all of the G models (even the K if you did a tall tail kit).
Personally? I hate the G's with the blisters on the nose. But I also like the Erla Haube canopy... it just looks so much cleaner than the older style canopy.
Sym, the plane you have above (Black 14) is a Bf 109G-6 of 8./JG 1 flying in early 1944. I have some more information on the plane at home.

Jeff,
I like aerodynamic goodness. In fact listening to quite a few of the Bf 109 pilots talk about the birds they flew, almost all of them were unanimous in the love of the F models (other than it's weapon's load).
A nice F in JG54 colours is hard to beat!
That being said I don't mind the nose hump of the K models and G-10's

I know it's been a while with this project but if you do have any information on Black 14 then I would greatfully appreciate it. I especially need an accurate drawing for the outline.
cheers,
Sym.

Sym,
Yep, let me scan some of the images and send them to you. I'm on the Air Base tonight, so may not be able to get you any goodies for a couple of days.
A little bit of trivia on just how bad the war was going for 8./JG1, they had 15 pilots in the late spring of 1944. By August, twelve pilots had been killed, one captured and another severely wounded. Only ONE pilot suvived. Without any doubt the P-51 was the main nemisis of 8./JG1. Its estimated a full 95% of all 8./JG1 losses were due to P-51's.
Two weeks after D-Day, I./JG 1 had lost a total of 106 aircraft and 30 pilots, and they only had 32 kills recorded... ouch.

Cheers EM, I look forward to it. Interesting bit of Trivia as well. [X(]
Don't want to appear pushy but I'm getting pestered about the CAD drawings.
Cheers,
Sym.

Hi Sym,
Saw your request for drawings on the BF109. I have some original BF109 drawings and am more than happy to share them. Here's a copy of a couple of drawings I have, it shows the dimensions of the wing based on actual Messerchmitt data/drawings
I've also added some drawings of the prototype 109H which is the extended wing version. The other 109 with extended wings is the 109T series.

RE: HELP!!! High Quality 3-view needed / Bf-109G-6
Hi Sym,
forgot to point out that a very good website with good 3 view drawings is http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/index1024.htm
I think the 3 views for BF109G6AS that was posted earlier in the post came for this website and are the drawings done by Andy Barnett, Witold Hazuka and Jacek Jackiewicz for the AJ-Press - Czech publications.
The drawings I posted in the post above are original drawings from the factory blueprints. Some are retraces and the fuselage side view with the dimensions is also derived from an original blueprint.
I have a few more showing some experimetal in between versions of the 109F as it evolved from the 109E to 109F.
