Default amt 180 rpm loss

good morning gentleman!
i am writing from brazil on Behalf of my client, Nelson Gamma.
he have bought a second hand AMT 180 produced in 2003, it has logged only 8 starts and remain stopped for 3 years, with proper lubrification and care.
then i have installed it on a new model, and after some trouble to start, ti only reached 100.000 RPM.
before we take major maintenance, is there anything we can try here to achieve the porper rpm setting?
your help is much appreciated on this subject.
best regards
fred cesquim

Default RE: amt 180 rpm loss

[font="Courier New"]Dear Sir,

It is difficult to say what is wrong when it is not reaching max RPM but I will give you a few suggestions.

Pump is not getting enough fuel because of restriction in the fuel system, or fuel filter.
Inside the engine is a restriction, try to put 10 bar of pressure on the fuel system of the engine.
When the engine has an unbalance it also will not throttle up to maximum RPM.
Maybe the battery is bad.

If noting will help it is best to send it to AMT for repair, if you decide to do this please send engine + ECU + pump.

Best regards,
Bennie
