Default Pitts S-2B Identification

I'm helping a friend get the Pitts flying again. I don't have the exact specs, but I'm hoping those who've been flying a while will recognize it. Blue and white monocoat with N98CMK on the fuse.
It's almost certainly an ARF from early 2000's based on the 72 MHz antenna tube and older Saito motor (1.20 - 1.80?) - working to ID that also.
. It has HS805MG servos for the elevator & rudder. WAG 4' WS and weighs 15-20 pounds. I'll get specifics if the picture isn't good enough.
. I'd like to know who manufactured the model so we can get setup info. Any help will be appreciated. TC

Thank you very much, that's definitely it.
I'll measure the stroke to determine the engine displacement unless there is an easier way. By weight? The ID plate is missing. Certainly 1.20 to 1.80. TC

It's certainly older. My understanding is a 1.20 is very similar to a 1.80 - same mounting pattern and similar weight. How can you tell this a 1.20? Thanks, TC

Taken from a search on here,,,,
OK. The only "Real" differences in the early and late FA-120 engines is the ABC cylinder and "Normal" cam on the early models. The later ones have AAC cylinders and the high lift cam.

Easy ID for the ABC/AAC cylinders is the cooling fins. Look at the cam box. If the fins reach out over the box, it's ABC. The AAC cylinder has smaller fins, the cam can be removed with the cylinder in place.

OK, thanks - definitely the AAC version. Not sure if I'm dense or missed something, most likely both. My understanding is the 1.20 is externally the same as the 1.50 and 1.80. That would explain the sticker which falls off the case. How can I tell without determining the stroke or measuring displacement? I think the answer is I can't. Thanks again. TC

The blue and white monocoat, along with the older Saito motor and 72 MHz antenna tube, are typical of models from the early 2000s. As for the manufacturer, without more details or a picture, it's a bit tough to pinpoint, but someone with experience might recognize it based on those specs.

"Lift" correctly named the plane in post #2 (Cermark Pitts). The motor is the more difficult proposition. Thx. TC
