Default Alfa Mig 15 and landing gear

Flew my new (Alfa) Mig 15 yesterday and it was a blast. Using Himax 2015-5400 and 1550mah Lipo. QUESTION is has anyone used gear for take off and landing. If so what is your setup (wheel wise) and importantly what is the takeoff distance for runway that you require. I would assume this would be less than ROG but wanted to see what people are doing.

Thanks for the info. Did you mount the nose wheel servo outside or between the skim and duct?
