I am trying to set up my dual rate and exponential and trying to assign to the switches. I fly mode 2 so I want my ailerons switch assigned to the right side of the transmitter ideally on switch D. It appears by default the aileron switch is set automatically to switch A on the left and cant be changed The instructions are vague and don't really help. Can I assign switches on this transmitter or is not changeable to personal preference?

Take a look at page 190 of the manual. You should be able to change the switch selection
