Precedent Stampe 1/4 scale - bought a non-finished kit yesterday
Gentlemen,
I've seen a couple of threads on the Peecedent Stampe Sv4 1/4 scale. I'd like input on engine choice, CG, landing gear and recommended throws.
I may be able to choose between a Saito 1.50 or an SC 1.20. Both of which I intend to convert to gas at a later stage. I've also read different opinions regarding rigging wires, beefing up the wing centre section, making a sprung landing gear and rebuilding the tail wheel assembly. Are all these changes really neccessary? Did Precedent really goof on this design that much?
Anyway, in three hours I will pick it up. Can you tell I'm excited?
