Savage ext, lcg and rollcage
Hi there
after driving almost driving a year with a lowered chassis (engine drop : 12 mm) i wanted something longer LOL so i made an ext. chassis, i also made a rollcage so that the STS. 28 wouldn't get hurt
well no more talk here i let the pics speak for their own
I wanted it al black so i used dye to colour the (purple) ofna sliders and also deanodizided the stoppers (they where purple aswell)
I didn't liked the dull look the had after deanodizing them so i polished them aswell as the servo horn
I have tried to put the stickers on the hood but damn that didn't turned out very neat, so i am going to do something different with the stickers
I have driven it around some and the engine was kinda acting funny (4 stroke sound) so after inspection i saw that i had air bubbles in the fuel line
so i swapped the MGT tank for the hellfire tank, bubbles where gone but still the sound so i am going to seal the engine (STS .28) but i am waiting for new o-rings to arrive so currently the savy is in bits and pieces
as soon as it is back together i post more pics (with hellfire tank)
feel free to comment

Excellent engineering, i think you have a little more time on your hands than i do[].
Refering to the bubbles in the fuel line, were you running with that body on? Those type of bodies can lead to overheating, and then fuel vaporisation in the carb and fuel line.
Love your work

RE: Savage ext, lcg and rollcage
thx
i was running it without the lid so the overheating thing isn't an issue
about the time i have spend well i don't have a lott off spare time, i always work 10 hours shifts and i even work on saturday morning and then i have to do the work around the house to [:'(]
it just takes a little longer to get it ready then
