New Releases From HPI!
What do you guys think of the new HPI Wheely King truck (1/12 Scale) on the HPI Europe website? It came out today and costs 230 EUROS in Germany.
There is also a new electric on-road car coming out called the RTR E2 (1/10 scale), which will also be available in a Drift version. It will cost 170 EUROS in Germany. But it will be a lot cheaper in the USA.
And finally, a new nitro truck coming out called the RTR Firestorm RaceTruck (1/10 scale), which will feature a 3cc engine. It will cost 340 EUROS in Germany, but again, will cost a lot less in the 'States.
This is all I know at this point, and I don't know when they will be released.
THIS IS ALL INFORMATION FROM HPI'S GERMAN SUPPLIER LRP, so it is trusted information.

Good work. Looks like quite a nice truck.
EDIT : I think that wheelie king is all about looks though... I wish it was nitro, then I might consider it. But the Savage X SS is the one on top of list for now.

No, the specs on the wheelie king arnt good, but it is all about looks. It does look like a proper monster truck, with all the steel bars etc.
The link you posted is for the wheelie king not the firestorm. Does anyone have a link to that?

Does anyone know if these will be out in time for christmas in the UK? I was gonna get a Savage X SS shortly after, but if this Firestorm thing looks good then I might get that.

The Firestorm is NOT out yet and is NOT feature on ANY websites yet. I do not know when it will come out. I have some new information: The Firestorm will have a 3.00cc engine, which is the same size as the HPI 18SS engine, so it will probably have that.

So it is not as powerful as the savage but probably lighter and 2wd drive being a stadium truck? It could be quite good. I think Savage X SS is still top of my list though.

RE: New Releases From HPI!
I'd like an UPDATED Rush, personally. one with dual bellcrank steering (preferably canted backwards to match the caster of the front wheels like other modern gas trucks), a ball diff stock, and, for God's sake, A KIT VERSION!! I need another basher stadium truck...which would make a perfect home for the OS .12TR i'm tryin to sell:P

The strange think is I emailed HPI a couple of months ago or less when I heard the Rush was being discontinued if there where plains for a new 2 wheel drive stadium truck. I was told at that time there where not plains for one. I will be convinced when I hear HPI say something about it.

I really did not want to sell it even thaw I did not run it much any more but I wanted to get a set up station for my buggy. Have not received payment yet but my Hudy set up station is on is way. They list for about $140 and picked one up on clearance for $110 so I had to break the plastic out and get it. I have quite a few Rush parts I will be letting go.

Looks like a awesome rock crawler or scale monster truck. Great paint/sticker job. Too bad it's only 1/12th scale though.

46u, HPI said that they had nothing new so they wouldn't get thousands of people e-mailing them about the new releases.

Well it cost me less then $1 for listing fees and if does not pay I will get my final fees back so I would not be out much if he does not pay and I will do what my listing states if he does not. I got in on their 20 cent listing then the extra pictures.
Either way the set up station will be here first of the week.
