Default thinkin about switching to lipo receiver bats.

so i know when they came out the shape was a little weird and you had to cut up stuff to make most of em fit. do they come in the normal configuration for reciever bats or do they have there owm weird shap you have to deal with? also is there a big difference of performance of the servos?

You will at minimum need some sort of voltage regulator (servos are usually rated to 6v).  But you should get longer run time out of them and have more consistent voltage.

It's always been my experience that questions asked in the right section get a lot more responses, kinda like not asking a math question during history class.
You might have gotten more of a response had you put this in Car Radio/electronics http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_201/tt.htm , instead of the General one you chose.

What people don't do is go in the General cartegory to answer Radio questions.
You should be pissed at yourself for posting your question in the wrong forum.
Frankly, you owe everyone here an apology.

Out of all the forums to post on trying to help people I NEVER search through all the topics to see if someone had misposted something.
I figure that if they want a question answered it is up to them to post it in the correct category!
