Somehow, it must be magic that it works with my Clod... :D

ESC is ESC....

hpi gt speed says it's compatible with e-savage motors only.. uh oh.

The one I killed a brushless one... they did give me a new one, since it is supposed to be waterproof..

So don't believe everything we read!! :D

That sucks. I've heard of people having problems with them. I've had mine complete submerged a bunch of times without a problem.

RE: Super Clod Buster Build-up Thread

lol, now i'm tempted to get the sport esavage.. the esc is already $80 by itself.. the RTR is 260!
and you get the 2 motors already too

If Traxxas says it can get wet, it can get wet, very wet. If it breaks, most likely they will replace it no charge. I've dealt with Traxxas for years and have never had any problems with them standing 100% behind any of their products whether it was installed on one of their own vehicles or not. Their customer service is the best in the industry.

It is good to hear hat Traxxas is good for customer support... I say someone should get one of them ESC and give it a try then.. :D

RE: Super Clod Buster Build-up Thread

i cant find one at all...

i want something alot bigger lol:D

Lunchboxer 06-03-2008 06:54 AM

RE: Super Clod Buster Build-up Thread

TXT and Clod come with the same silvercan motors...

But there's more room in the TXT to fit longer motors...

Titans might not fit the Clod in stock configuration... they are 550-sized motor, not 540.. but you can give it a try..
