Default First Impression of evoJet 180.......WOW!!!

Took my grandson flying today out at Fort Bend RC Club near Houston and we got to see our friend Robert try out his new evoJet 180. That is one smoooooth.......powerful turbine. Very smooth startup on the first attempt...one of the smoothest kerostarts I have ever seen. He flew it on his KingCat today but it will soon be pushing his YA F-18 around.

Yep it is a damn solid smooth running turbine. I've had 13 flights on my new Ultra lightning with it. I'm sure that it is under rated in the specs. It feels like its putting out more than 18kg. So much authority it just gives me so much confidence in flight. After 8 min flights I'm landing with tanks only 50% empty. the model carries 5.8lt total. <div>It's the first one operating here in new Zealand. But interest is growing after seeing my one. </div><div>All the best with your engine. </div><div>Best thing it comes with lifetime warranty. </div>

I've had the Evo 180 in my classic Lightning for about a year now and it's awesome. Tremendous power increase over what I had, is lighter and uses about 1/3rd less fuel. Chad also great to deal with which is a bonus.
