Default Where is this F-18

I am thinking of modeling this plane. Does anyone know where it is parked currently. It looks like it may be in Virgina,Oceana NAS, but the picture was dated over a year ago. Any info would be great.
Thanks, Billy

Thanks Carlos, but I've already been there, in fact I have every one of those photos saved on the computer. What I need to know is like, where is this plane now, not is 2005. I am hoping that wherever it is I can fly out and do my own walkaround. Thanks , Billy

Because the Navy just lets anyone go on base to look at their crap whenever they want.....

If one contacts the base or squadron Public Affairs officer.Explain to him/her what your trying to accomplish , You would be surprised as to one access one can get. It works for me

Hey Oossiksmith , Why you so bitter?

First of all, I don't think the Navy's stuff is crap.

Second of all what Uncle Joe said is true, You'd be amazed what you can get done with a little one on one over the phone. Of course they would give me an escort. They're not just gonna let me run free with a camera and a ladder all over the tarmac.

Third( my favorite) Maybe I'll just make a phone call to a friend in a six sided building

Uncle Joe, are you saying the blue ones are gone. Did they change them to red?

Make that a 5 sided building. Friends in high places always make a difference. When I was stationed at Mather AFB, I got reaquainted with the Vice Wing Commander and we had a great time discussing old times when we were stationed together as young Captains in Grand Forks. I was able to get all the photos I needed for my project.
