When mine comes I think I'll have Tam build a scale burner can for it. He did a great job on the Skymaster one and this should be a walk in the park for him.
Any one know of a good sight to look at different schemes for the F-16?
Thanks,
Lowell

If you have the augmenter closed on the ground it will look funny too. I guess unless you can build a fully articulating one you have to decide whether you want it to look funny on the ground or in the air huh?

Guys, I spoke to James just a few minutes agao...the "open" nozzel is for the vectored thrust. They have another one that is really nice and scale. I will try to post the picture of it later. Make sure you order the right one.
I feel much better now...!!

what do you mean vectored thrust? I think even if you were to add vectored thrust it would still not fit into that nozzle, sorry!

Actually I kind of like the opened nozzle! Nothing wrong with it at all. It is not like the one the Aviation Design' Falcon, which looks like it has a Churchill stuck up it's *****!!

That's funny! It's your choice and I'm at least glad we have that. It would definatly show off the after burner lights!

This is what I have decided on. They have agreed to do it for a small add'l charge. I think it will be highly visable in the air and awesome on the ground.

4 months ago I ask for a couple different schemes and they told me NO. I really didn't like what was originally offered.
But I kinda liked the Netherlands scheme now.
This is the Jet I really wanted.

Chad, I went with the blue one. Do you think the red is sharper? I was really undicided on which one to go with. I do like the red as well. Consenses everyone?

Angus, looks pretty good...hows the detail?

The detail is pretty good, comparable with the other Jet Mfg., the rear plywood mount where the gear mounts to could be thicker, I'm pretty sure I'll build it up a bit.

i like the red better too. i don't agree that the blue would be more difficult to see, i guess it's different for everyone but blue, especially the baby blue, glows in the sky to me.

Angus, how are the gear? Are they pretty beefy? The back half looked pretty good. Hard to see the detail, but you say it's pretty good... Can't wait to see the front.

Consensus say Red so far!

Lowell
