So the brushed motor I put in my blackout obviously can’t handle 3S Lipo because it burned out. And payday don’t come for another week so I was bored and took apart an old drill that I had. It was only a couple years old but it’s an 18 V lithium drill and the motor is about the same size. After some configuration, a little frustration and a lot of determination my Frankenstein RC was born! What’s awesome is that the motor takes up to 18 volts under load and since the 3s is 11.1 by theory it should work just fine! About to take it out for a run. We’ll see if it a success or epic failure! Either way it was kinda fun making something out of nothing!
