Welcome to Club SAITO !
I would love to have one that size. Have a pair of 91's just waiting for one. My 101" Ziroli will have 38CC 4 stroke gas, which I heard fly the plane with authority. Straight piped, so should sound really good too.

Musting,,
OF, from your photos it looks promising,,, hummm>> compared to the 115 I wonder if the Twin is not as wide from the Crank's Center to the tip of the Rocker Covers because the Twin's Cylinders are from the 50 engine, so it should not be as wide, <sound's correct to me
OF, I do have an unfinished Worlds Model 46 P-40, it may not be the best to scale ARF but it's a very well built plane, and it's Canopy is absolutely beautiful, the best I have ever seen,, but I can't say much about it's plastic retracts, I guess they would be OK if they were replaced after a give amount of flights,,, I am going to put an OS Hyper 50 Heli engine in mine, and use a GMS 46 Muffler that is just a bit larger than my OS 61FX muffler, the engine and muffler should work well together
Jim
There is a fair bit of leeway with flexible cowls sliding over an engine, bit fiddly sometimes. The world models midget has a longer w/span than my 55" cmpro version so i'm guessing the your midget fuse is at least as wide as mine.I've included a close up pic of the fa115 mounting and as you can see that fits nicely side mounted.
ps never underate chinese composite fuses this one is beautifully made, light and very strong,it's so well finished people asked me if i'd painted it.After fitting the saito 115 and test flying it

B-25,,
note the sound of the Saitos near the end of the video where he was flying slower, it sounded so cool,, well> I was wondering how it would have sounded if he was flying by even slower ??

Hi Pete. The original Epsilon from CA Models in Argentina were 90 & 120 size kits. All the foam came sheeted by expert baggers. Then, a 40 size kit was released. The 82 is in the Epsilon 40, and the 125 is in the Epsilon 90. These are the 2005 era competition grade pattern kits and were designed for glow engines. CA Models went to electric later and then dropped the kit making end which is a crying shame. I have one Widebody 40 kit still in the box to build one day, and then no more. To me, those are the best kits ever made for "Sunday" flying to pattern competition. Building those are truly fun. I took my time with the Epsilon 40 because I enjoyed working with it so much. The fuselage is well designed, laser cut interlocking ply. You can put one together all lined up without any glue and it will hold alignment. It also has a sheeted turtleneck and forward deck, sheeted tail and horizontal stab. I really miss those kits. I'll get the prop data later. Thanks for asking old friend.

Jim we must sound like over excited puppy dogs sometimes and a few people here may think we should be back on the 'special bus'
Barry looking at what you wrote was a bit of an eyeopener and i had'nt considered putting a saito in to a pattern plane.

I don't know the price on that twin was something special. If I had something besides two starved to death moths in my wallet I would have pounced on the deal too! OF a Saito belongs in every airplane!

Don't worry , . . . be happy ! ! It's still in the family. Close to finishing a Rascal 80 with a FA62. After a while, I'm thinking that is where the FA80T will find it's home. Does a 13.5 x 6 cf prop sound about right ?

That's because i think your trying to introduce a smelly evil sounding two stroke in to the conversation
Triumphman i looked up that rascal 80 it's much prettier than my deccys maybe you could run a nicely grained wooden prop, say 14x6 at around eight on the ground?

OF, Will be prop experimenting (do have some scimitars, Dynathrust's and Zingers') hoping to gain in up lines, and . . . . . Oh'hhhh . . . that sound. But 1st, be trying to get used to that twin carb set-up. Some people make it sound so easy. Guess I'll have a try at it.

Like this couldn’t decide Saito 56 or 72 so I built two fazers one for each engine
