yeeaa, and I bet he doesn't even make them, he just has the left over reserves he bought from those companies.
never the less, I had a couple new Hot, short K&B's some one gave me, they worked great on my smelly 61fx that kept stalling at idle while in flight.

Jim, a guy named FuelMan used to post here, he owned Cooper Fuels and he sold Glo-Devil plugs, he sent me a bunch about 12 years ago. They work very well in the 15.1 to 1 Saito 80 as do the Fox Miracles. He sold out S&W Fuels. I also wrang out a Black Lincoln .61 for him. It was little heavy but very smooth.
I'm always up for trying new things to make my 4 strokes run better. So far I've tried Fox Miracle, Enya #4, Merlin 9006, Saito SS and OS-F plugs. Can't see a nickel's worth of difference in how they perform with my 15% fuel. Perhaps if I was running no nitro or high nitro I would have seen a difference?
These days I just run the OS-F plugs, easy to get, run great and last seemingly forever when installed after the intial break in period is over. I would like to try a Glowdevil at some point though.

Gary, you sent that 125 to me with a very new looking enya #3 plug; running my 15% nitro/17,5% oil the engine didn't like it. It ran unsteady throughout the rpm range. I swapped it out for an OS-f and things couldn't be better. Any idea why? Is the enya #3 a little hotter than the OS maybe?
Wait
I downloaded the manual for the flybaby I got from Gary before deciding on which Satio to take down from the shelf to mount in it.
I read it from the introduction to the engine mounting steps. Then pulled down the neglected FA 65.😬🤔😊
No there is some "crazy talk"

I hadn't considered flame propagation a possible issue in engines with such a small bore. Maybe I should?
I have considered a longer reach plug to possibly be better for inverted engines where fuel can pool on the glow element and swamp the plug.
Still learn'n
Is the Glowdevil plug longer than an OS-f? It actually looks shorter in the pics ie. same number of threads but no extended nose.

it's too bad Mr, Lee will not talk on these forums (LOL I sure understand why he doesn't) but he has sO much knowledge of these little revving works of art.

sorry for editing my post above, but, if you watch the video close, you can see that when he made that head there is no chamber on the inside of the head, this tells me that with a chamber, the chamber must puddle much

I think that vid just illustrates puddling in a 2 stroke that's running way too stink'n rich. He only got it into a lean-ish condition once during the vid and puddling was almost completely eliminated. He had to run it that rich otherwise high temps , even at idle, would have melted the plastic much faster.
I poo poo'd that vid when I fist saw it and I'm poo pooing it now. Lol
