This composite model we make has both kevlar and carbon. However, I have a composite Spitfire that I put a raised glass stringer along the fuse. Out did the composite configuration.

I have a pic of that ,but I can't find it yet.

So for reinforcing wood landing gear rails, plates and formers, Carbon only or carbon/Kevlar weave?
