Agreed there Geoff, strangely the UMX Mig is the only plane I have ever been happy with flying on Rectum because unlike most other stuff this plane with all it's gyros is actually supposed to twitch when it's switched on...

For those attending the jet meeting at Long Marston this weekend, pilots briefing is planned to be held at 1000. Outstanding flying fees will need to be settled before flying commences, this can be done prior to the pilots briefing or on completion.
We are certainly going to be blessed with good weather! Should be a very good meet, UMX Mig is ready for combat tomorrow morning!

The post code for Long Marston airfield is CV37 8LL

Scorchio! Near perfect weather at Long Marston, we were musing over the last time we were there 3 months ago and the toilet water was frozen! Today it was boiling away. As is normal at two day JMA events of late, very chilled out, endless flying (as much as you like) often part of the flight on your own the way things go. I "only" managed about 14 flights today, mainly due to the tech work load and heat! I test flew four models for customers and new friends. A Velox, two JL Viperjets and a Boomerang Elan. Big thanks to the Jet Rebel for his patience and know how on the unusual string of turbine issues in two of the models involved.
Travelling light in the short wb Transit "rocket ship" I took my DJ Cougar, DJ Vampire, GJC Mig 15 and CARF Spark. "Little Stevie" managed to drive the camera for a few of my flights and I managed to catch a few others, but didn't really get time today-maybe tomorrow.
A huge above and beyond to Big G who pulled his turbine to allow Dave Butts CARF Tutor to fly on after a faulty RPM sensor caused a few thermal flights
It was a brilliant day and more tomorrow...
Oh..and the glare nearly blinded me a few times...he could wear a cap

I too can not see the pics will pass this on to the webmaster.
Dave did you by any chance load them in a different way. Possibly through a smart phone? If so the details might help us out.

Great weekend Guys.
Back to work today to recover.
Good to see David Butt/John Palmer get the Tutor test flown and they were very pleased with the way it flew. Also watched Dave W fly his cougar and have to say its probably the best I have ever seen him fly it as he was flying it very low and dirty!
Also watched Jamie fly Alan Browns Tazor and it is flying really well so it is looking well sorted and I am sure it will be popular. Well done Alan(note to myself - must take Alan up on his offer to have a go with it).
Geoff.
