CCRC1, I agree. Balsa and ply rarely (if ever) require such drastic techniques.

David Cutler, I don't have any Nine Inch Nails. I'm more of a Moody Blues fan.

Minnflyer,

Can I quote you when I tell my wife I absolutely "need" that MIG welder? I have been looking for a good excuse for some time now, but I am ashamed to admit that I had not considered the bandsaw blade. I did get her to OK the purchase of a framing nailer and compressor for building wing jigs. Maybe I should hold off until I get the laser cutter for my aluminum landing gear.
