Default 102 out of 143

Mine came yesterday too. I have pictures
of the whole opening the box experience. Will be posting later tonight.
I was like a little kid in Christmas morning:stupid:

Composite-arf on the spars, Shulman 2.6.

Only problem to report is that the hardware bag was split open and all the little parts were spread on the floor of the box. After crosschecking with the hardware inventory at the back of the manual it turns out I'm only missing a couple of clevises and a few of the smaller nuts. Not a big deal I think.

I did report it to my rep just as an 'FYI' note.

Time to review all the previous posts about this model and start assembling.

Default Composite ARF

This is what we've all been waiting for. I drove up to SFO and picked mine up the other day and it is perfect! Box #114. I'm already thinking about my 40%. Composite ARF is going to be hard to beat!

Default yea!

I already have both elevators and wings with servos, this weekend the cowl, canopy, landing gear, and engine. All my bad experiences with P Plus are being vindicated by the quality of this kit. I will try to get in touch w/ Andras and see if he can swap my FC by a kit that it is of a decent quality. I bet you that he does not have an attitude like some other people.

I would love to see the Shulman scheme, please post pics.

Also, anyone have pics of the cannister setup that was mentioned?

Thanks

Default Huge

:surprised
The picture doesn't even begin to describe how big the cowl is. Of course I'm moving up from a 29% so take that with a grain of salt

Default Composit-arf.com "fall out"

It turns out the hardware bag was split open at some point. After a roll call it turns out i was missing some clevices and nuts. I reported this to my Rep this morning and this afternoon he replied that replacements were allready on the way.

Default Hmmm....

I don't know what to think about this area. It's definetly a color defect but since it'll be under the cowl I choose to ignore it.:disappoin

Default More to come later!

It was getting dark and too damn cold and had to cut the picture taking short.
One thing I checked after I took it inside was the aileron throw.
I was surprised to find that the aileron can move up to almost 90 degrees. Not so much down though. Is this normal?
I thought the hinge is supposed to be stiff in the beginning!
