Welcome to Club SAITO !
Update. Just watched a vid called " what can the Orlan-10 do ".
Wingspan: 3mtrs.
Length: 2mtrs.
Weights: 12.5 kgs min.
16.5 kgs AUW.
Cruising speed between 115 and 150 kph.
Endurance of up to 18 hours.
Saito garbage can mufflers visible on either side of cowl, engine seems to have a very soft rubber mounting and is self starting.
Black coarse pitch prop appears to be approx 14 to 16 inch dia.
Picture of crashed drone without cowl shows petrol Saito flat twin with small oil hole drilled in pushrod covers??
Anyone like to guess how big the twin is and who supplied the hundreds of engines, may even be thousands, good business for the supplier.

again the site will not let me post more than one video. here below is the link for more videos.
note that the site will let me post 2 different links for 2 different videos on YouTube, but the 2 links here on RCU show the same video.

Are you looking for one to order ?
As long as it will do the next job/ mission, it´s good enough.
Same as I would do in the club field in order to have one more flight for the day.

anyone ever heard of "Precise brand Tooling" I am looking for a new 1/2" drill chuck for my lathe's tail stock. I feel I don't need a $100 or $300 chuck. don't need a $600 chuck ether LOL. and I sure do not want a $18 chuck. the brands with the big names do not show a 1/2" chuck in the listings in the $60 price range. but I found this "Precise brand". the description builds it up pretty good. it's made in Taiwan. I guess I should say "at least it's not made in China.

It is, and I may know where he got it
Merry Christmas to all, thank you Lonnie.
It means your engine is one from a batch of FA-150 stamped "C" . The batches are sequentially tagged in alphabetical order. An engine stamped "B" would have been made earlier, an engine marked "D" would be from a later batch. Every replacement case I have seen has had no letter stamped on the lug.
Hope this helps.

I said it before, and I say it again. "there is a lot of nice people on the Saito page"
looky what I have here. boy does this thing turn super smooth. German made. it's in beautiful shape. it seems to be never used. I'm sure I can get the mark off it with Scotchbright.
thank you so much Bill!

This is on MECOA's opening page, it's a sad day even for those who never met the couple.
