Nobody is dissing you, however your theories appear a bit farfetched. All we want to know if your motor, ESC, and battery. That's it! There is no reason to talk down upon peoples country because you fail to comprehend, lets just see what your packing, or a GPS speed claim. If it hasn't been measured from a proper speed measuring device you can't go around making somewhat outrageous speed claims, especially claims that high. Apart what you may think, even the paint scheme on the body can make a car appear faster. Does it mean the car is faster, No.

So, post your setup and all will be straight.

Heya has anyone here had a problem with the screw holes on the chassis not holding the screws right? like there stripped out. I hand tighten every screw going into the thing but some of them just dont hold them in tight. Im putting together a 2nd TT01 with, since i did so many hop ups, i almost had enough to de a whole new car, all i needed was a couple parts (body, chassis, reciever, and screws). Its gonna be all stock so the wife can drive with me when I go, so it doesnt have to be super tough, but some of them i can pull right out... ne1 else have that prob?

yeah Ive got a few screws that have rounded out and wont tighten. I think its unavoidable when screwing into plastic. Try and find a slightly bigger screw and it should tighten up.

I got some of my screws. Its going in but not really tight. always spining without an end. As long it hold it without moving, then it's fine for me. nothing break or anything.

hey i found ew months later ( lol ) i got a Hex Wheel large than normal. what is it use for? I tried it and yea my tt-01 look nicer :P. somehow a fake offset hehe.

The larger hex nuts are if youre running wide tyres, it stop them rubbing because it moves them further out.

yes i have the same problem with the screws so i put bigger ones.i think we shouldnt tight too much the screws coz we do damage to the screw holes.

Hey people;

I went to a drift meet on saturday with two TT01's (different setups). I was thouroughly dissapointed with the amount of control I had during drifts, especially on the car with no front one-way. The other guys creamed me. It seems with the TT01 it's all about the entry; screw that up and it is near impossible to correct. The other cars such as the yok DP's and the TA03f's seemed to have that 'edge' wherein they could control the slide more accurately. My runs were more luck than anything.

More punch is needed without a doubt; I will next try lowering the gearing and increasing the no. of motor turns. The worst part is I thought I had it sorted while at home on the car park; but as soon as you have a track to negociate it gets so much more complicated. Has anyone else noticed this?

I need a TA03F ASAP!

TT-01 is very average for drifting. When I first got my TT-01D it would only drift at low speed and once you had some speed up it wouldnt drift. I played with the suspension and camber etc etc to no avail.

Basically to make it drift well you need a lot of power.

I installed my 9 turn to see how fast I could get the car going then one day I threw the drift tyres on for a laugh. It was so much better to drift and would drift at high speed no problem.

So basically throw a low turn motor in and you should have more luck drifting.

Hey guys, i got a tt-01r kit about 2 weeks ago and loving it. [img][/img]

well its allstock as far as the tt-01r kit comes but in the mail is my body(a hpi honda nsx gt a very sleek car), 14t motor,25t pinion, wheels and rims, tierods, alloy sterring assembly, (i managed to break the stock one lol, i was being carless[sm=bananahead.gif]), metal motor mount and a spring set

Its a fun machine and i can't wait to see the fun factor after my upgrades
oh and u guys have all been helpfull so i give all of u my thanks [sm=thumbs_up.gif]
