Jet-1A is Looking for Bandit ARF FREQUENT flyers
if you own a new bandit arf..
you fly about a minimum of 10 flights a week.
you would like to test our product.
then contact me please..
we will have soon a few prototypes ready for the Bandit ARF version
this oleoset will contain for testing:
2 main oleo,s
2 sets of different springs
a few spare pins
they will fit in the original BVM landing gear
they will also fit the original wheels and brakes.
after the testing you may keep the set free of charge , but we expect a nice test report ..
before we put this gear on the market ,we want to make sure that they can stand even the worst beatings known to man....
if you feel up to the job , please send me a mail at : [email protected].
(sorry but retailers are not picked , we really want end users..)[:-]
Best Regards
Sandor.

the one that always says "my bandit here , my bandit there"?
the one that always says "my bandit here , my bandit there"?
rutter_the_nutter has "my bandit this, my bandit that" in his signature.
The guy who actually says it in real life is someone else, and he always lands perfectly
His identity is a big secret, just like "Chief Designer" Sergei Korolyev of Soviet rocket fame.

This is where it gets complicated.

I recommend rutter_the_nutter if you want them tested to destruction.

I have never had so much as a hop or anything on my bandit landings BUT Mr Missle' coach is a different matter not only does he remove the retract but peels off half the bottom of the wing as well so he is your man who will be able to test to distruc tion. I only do greasers.

Who are you on about it can't be your mentor as he has spanked his arf bandit on landing twice removing the under carriage and half the wing which BV is replacing by the way - so who is it .
sshhh don't need to explain about your mentor and he will qualify

RE: Jet-1A is Looking for Bandit ARF FREQUENT flyers
Sandor,
I am sure there would be helpers here in the UK if it were summer but you asked for fliers that would put in 10 flights a week and that is a lot on one airframe at this time of year, unless your name is Jets Fletcher of course.
They do look good though and if I had a Bandit ARF---------.
Regards Trevor Skedge.

Sandor, do these legs retract in to the wing without having to trim the factory holes?

Jason
however if the springs are extended a lot it could hang in the holes
but so can the original one,s...
that is why we need to test them
worst case is that we need to cnc a few new covers from carbon.
if they need a offset we will suplly 2 new covers from carbon.
but then someone needs to make me a dxf or a plt file
the machining i can do , i am just very bad in drawing things up.

Looks very nice, as I have said before this is a very good design for model plan gear legs, IMHO.
Do the legs sit under the surface of the wing with the gear up? In other words will the doors close flush with the gear up?
Thanks,

Thanks,
but with prototyping we never now.
the thickness of the legs is the same so they should fit.
but then our testers can now see and maybe we need to make last changes , there are only 6 sets made for testing.
i have a also a bandit sitting here,but i need to finish 4 customer models first.....grrrrrr.

Has your testing been completed ?
My Bandit ARF was not complete at the time you made this announcement, but it's ready now - so I'd like to know more about the struts and the fedback so far.
Thanks,
Gordon

i also made a custom front end
Ali from als hobbies will fly a bandit this weekend on long marston with a custom made jet-1A.
the seem to do the job fine.
we need to alter some measurements but the basics are done.
i expect a week or 4 to complete.

RE: Jet-1A is Looking for Bandit ARF FREQUENT flyers
So are the Jet-1a struts now available for the bandit ARF? If so, has anyone been using them? Would like to hear feedback as to fit, use, etc.
