Hey, my rc18t came in the other day and the build went well ![Wink](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Anyway, has anyone tried the sway bar kit on theirs? If so...was it worth it?
And as far as gearing goes:
I have the CC sidewinder with 8,000 Kv motor (3S lipo) and was wondering what a good midrange gearing would be. Yes, I did look at the gearing chart, but I have a feeling that they say 'smallest pinion and largest spur' just to be positive nothing will melt/overheat, etc. So what spur and pinion will yield some all around good performance??
As of right now, I have the smallest pinion with the 60 tooth spur but I have a feeling it will be too wheelie happy.

maybe raise the pinion 2 teeth (or lower it to a 2s lipo) i have the 6800 (a step down from yours) and on a 3s lipo with the lowest gearing its way to much, the 8,000 is really only pratical on a 2s lipo, just my take on it[8D]
