Default Question for 3D Gurus

Raw Power or Throttle Response

I'm building a Widebody 60/90 with an estimated finish weight of
7 Lbs. and I have two engines, which would you use?

Important I live at 8,000 ft ASL, so we loose a lot of thrust believe me this figures are real.

OS 91FX
Thrust 10 Lbs. APC 14 x 6 between average to bad throttle response.

YS 80ST (Heli engine adapted to Aero).
Thrust 9 Lbs. APC 14 x 6 Awesome throttle response.

Any comments appreciated

Are those your only two engine choices? Personally I'd put both of those engines on eBAY and get me a good YS91 . Or if you don't like YS, go get the Saito 100. Just my $02

Default Power

Go for as much power as you can and still keep it as light as possible ! If you do not get a Satio 100 or similar , I'd go for the 91 FX ! Just my 2 cents. Rod & Chris in PA.

I think that the OS will have a fine throttle response. As long as you don't run an APC prop, cause theyre heavy. Id use a good wood prop like Menz, or Bamboola.

Default Question for 3D Gurus

My .91FX has excellent power, but I'm about tired of the crappy throttle response. I'm going to try a Glo-Driver, and if that doesn't work. . .

I would go with the YS. Deadsticks live up to their name when you're going low and slow doing 3D stuff.

YS are coming out with a new light, 110 size. (same size and weight as the 91 they say!)
