Different prop for Funtana 90?
I just started flying my Funtana 90, first acro-type ship. Love it. I normally fly scale, and it is different. I have a 120FS on it, 16/4w APC prop. I have broken 2 props in a week hitting the ground on take off or landing. It is not a case where I lower the nose too far, but on the ground at a level flight attitude, the tip hits the ground. Saw that some folks here are using bigger motors and 17 inch props. Are you using bigger tires or different landing gear? Was thinking about a 3 blade prop, but not too many out there with a low pitch and wide chord. Suggestions anyone?

Get a Graphtech main and no more problems.................I use one on my Funtana and they are strong and light and you can get it in two different size depending on the prop you are using.....I have the short version and no problem with the 17" prop

I get the same problem with a 16/6 prop. I looked around and you can get an extra tall version from www.fiber-lite.com or TNT landing gears. I've ordered a TNT I will see how that goes. I was just so tired of losing the tips of my props and at $16 a prop it is cheaper to get the new gear and also loding a bit of weight always helps in 3D.
