Default fpv causes interference in 2.4 radios?

Hi guys:
last Sunday while a member of the club flew his model with FPV equipped, we could see interference in a helicopter that flying simultaneously.
the helicopter was uncontrollable, luckily was able to land before the disaster.
someone has any news on this?
regards
Daniel

I don't think FPV equip would have anything to do with another aircrafts erratic flying. What freq was the chopper flying?

the chopper fly in 2.4, the FPV model radio is a PCM, but the television system is 2.4, I have heard of several problems with that.

Any two (or more) TX's in the same band could clash .

Regardless of Spectrum spread.

If a TXis overmodulated it will cause harmonics and swamp adjacent channels.

Also TX power must be a factor .. 2W 2.4GHz video Transmitters are very wideband and easy to purchase.

OP states "helicopter was uncontrollable, luckily was able to land".

Some control was obviously possible.

My best advice Platero would be .. untill you have isolated the cause and illiminated it .. don't fly at the same time.

Hoipe you sort this out.

Best regards. Dave. 2E0IUI</p>
