Balsa USA 1/4 scale Sopwith Pup $600
$600 or I can remove the electric motor/ ESC and switches and sell for $450.
I picked this airframe up about 3 years ago and it was probably about 10 years old at the time. I flew it 2 or 3 times and bent the LG in a rough landing. I decided to strip off the old covering refurbish the entire airframe and recover/ replace the old worn out solartex. I recovered with Solartex and painted with rustoleum and latex. Graphics are by Callie and dummy engine is 3d printed. Aircraft is 14.5 lbs w/o the batteries.
I have decided to sell because I need the space, and I don’t fly it because I am not very good at flying this plane on windy days.
It is and has always been electric powered, using two 5s 5000 mah lipos.
Specs:
4 channel, Hitec servos (radio not included)
Himax 6332-230 with Falcon 18X8 wooden prop powered by two 5S in series included. (I have a BUSA lipo box mounted to the firewall and you install them and secure with velcro straps.)
Hobby wing 160 Amp ESC
Arming switch w/ A123 battery for receiver and servos
Shipping is not possible but I can meet a serious buyer with in a reasonable distance of the Raleigh NC area for gas $
