Default E props Vs Glow props

SAL

Can we run props made for glow engines on E- motors , If NO could you explain why not.

I am using two E-flite 25 , on a twin and would like to counter rotate the right motor,
would a pusher prop work as a counter rotating prop ?

Thanks Dave

Default RE: E props Vs Glow props

Yes, you can run any glow/gas motor prop on an electric motor. Many people do, especially on the larger electric aircraft. Generally speaking the glow props are built to withstand the constant jarring and jerking inherent in an internal combustion engine and so are a bit thicker and mostly aren't ideal for electric motors. Still they will work fine. How well they work compared to APC, Graupners, etc. will depend on the particular prop.
