MIA MPG RC Autogyro 2014 - Night-N-Day Mobius Camera Test Fun Flights
Still January, so I think it is still safe to say Happy 2014!
One of many versions of the MIA MPG Micro RC Pusher Autogyro I designed for flying in a small area like a cul-de-sac, small park or indoor arena.
I did this video for three reasons:
1) To test the Night vision capability of a Mobius Camera (AKA as the modern version of the famous 808 #16 keychain camera)
2) To try the MIA Woodie blades I've used since the MIA 2002 Bumble Be Sub -Micro RC Helicopter, but slightly modified for autogyro use.
3) To have a bit of fun at night in front of my house and daytime in the local park.
The Mobius camera is an excellent portable and ultralight weight camera that surprisingly records great HD videos at night, for its price. It is easy to mount anywhere you wish, I have it mounted to a head cap visor with a screw using the camera screw-on cradle. It also lends itself well fro FPV if you have the plane and required additional gear for it.
