EVA Foam Core??
Hello there,
I'm new and I would like to build my own plane. My first goal is to learn and get some information before trying to make one. As far as I know most builders tend to work with polystyrene (XPS) foam.
My question is, is it possible to use tough EVA foam for wing core?
Will it flex too much on compressions?
If yes then what if we laminate or fiberglass it?
If anybody has tried this before, please let us know; thank you.
P.S.
I asked this question because I've got couple of intact kickboards around which are not used anymore. So just wanted to know if it is possible to recycle instead of disposing them out.
