An exhaust manifold collector/muffler for a 12 cylinder RC engine?
A diffuser nozzle for a jet powered trumpet mouthpiece??
A drogue receptacle for a multi-micro-mini in-flight refueling system???
A water spout for a slip-n-slide at Helga's House of Terror????

Post 16 & 17 were right it is a Dubro silencer. A few years ago there was a big push to quiet our engines down to about 92 DB's and this was one of the answers that did help some. To use it you took the back off your present muffler and installed the silencer in it's place. By changing the number of silicon tubes you changed the sound level. Don't laugh to hard this kind of thing just may have saved this Hobby/Sport. Back then there were a LOT of people looking to run us out of the country. Besides this kind of experiments have helped advance our present products. If you want to see another one I have it in a box with a whole lot of other test that we did years ago. Don't knock History, it got YOU here!!!! Not trying to be smart or curt just trying to let you all in on a bit of History. Gee come to think about it I haven't seen my sound meter lately. ENJOY!!!!!!
