I thnk it stands for Direct servo connection,..... or something like that....
what it is used for is you can directly connect your TX to your RX, so you can test servos or an airplane setup without transmitting a signal

found at the futaba site:
DSC = Direct Servo Control
High-end convenience feature which allows control/adjustment of servo function without sending signal through receiver. Requires optional DSC cord (FUTM4250) and DSC-compatible receiver such as R149DP and R113IP

RE: Futaba R149DP PCM 72MHz - DSC port?
HI
I have a fubtaba rx with a dsc connection, but what ive never come a cross is a futabab tx with the dsc connection does anyone know which has it or can it be done through the buddy box connection?
Used to have a JR tx and rx with dsc which had a jack plug the tx end which you just plugged in. This automatically turned the tx on but not to transmit.

The connection is through the buddy box port, the square one. You need a special cable, but they are inexpensive, less that $10 if I remember correctly. I've wired mine up to the charging jack, and you can just plug into the jack, plug into the transmitter and you have full servo control without turning on the transmitter. Great for setup work. I know it works on my 9CAPS. I'm sure on others also. A lot of the PCM receivers have the port.
