Newbie Ques: RX Antenna routing on glider
Hi:
I'm just finishing up putting together my ripmax Coyote, which I made electric powered.
How should I route the antenna wire for maximum range and safety?
I was thinking about running it inside the fuse to about 2-3" from the rear, then out a hole in the bottom, where it would dangle about a foot-and-a-half. The plane has a T-tail with moveable elevator only (no rudder).
The antenna might contact the tail, but I don't think it would be a problem. I can't see any way to extend it full length and still guarantee no contact with control surfaces.
