I just completed my avistar arf. I had no building experiance. You do need some supplies like epoxy and ca glue, # 11 blades and handle. I just followed the instructions and mine flew on saterday. I had a instructor take her up and he did things with it I thought only a extra could do.

i just finnished mine, that peice of wood with two holes are to reenforce the tubes that the ruder and elivator linkes slide in. it is epoxied to the rear of the batery compartment.
