Febuary 10th, 2006 -
Temps dropped to 72 degrees today here in Tucson. Could only manage to stay at the field for 5 hours.
Took a picnic lunch, and a nice drive out to the field where they hold the TUCSON SHOOTOUT at, nice field.
In Tucson we fly 52 weeks per year. Can Florida say that ? Can Kolifornia say that ?
( My Arnold impersonation )
No earthquakes here, no tornados, no hurricanes, no humidity, no smog, no snow, no gators, no bugs big enough to carry off your starter. Temps here don't peak until about 4 in the afternoon, so you can fly all morning, even during the summer.
And specifically, where the heck is Webster N.Y. ? Oh ........... Isn't that where Bill and Hillary live ?
I lived in the Hudson Valley of N.Y. state about 30 years ago, but never knew a Webster, N.Y. ?
A Gee Bee with ski's on ? ? ? [

Remember ... the cold preserves! The youngest guy in my pic is 104 yrs old. LOL. The guy laying down is Chewy... We only let him out in the winter!
The good part about wnter and not getting to fly as much is the anticapation of spring and being able to "FEEL the Excitment all over again"! My sound strange, but it's the truth... When you don't get to fly for a couple of months it's like Christmas when you're a kid... That rush is the best!
