New Source for Balsa Wood, Excellent Quality
Hi Everyone;
Greetings from very chilly Manasota Key, Englewood, Florida.
Acouple of weeks ago, while brousing through eBay, I came across someone selling Balsa Wood sheets in bulk, and there was a 'Buy it Now' feature,which means that you do not have to bid, so I decided to purchase a small stash of my favourite sizes: 1/16". 3/32, and some new 1/20" sheets, all X6" wide, 36" long. I just received my shipment and all I can say is WOW! the stuff is perfect, incredible quality, shipped fast and safe, in perfect sized cardboard box and at good prices to boot. The source appears to be interesting also:

In her eBay sale item presentation: #6030059620, she gives credit to 'AstroHog Fred Dunn', so l suspect that Kathleen is Fred's daughter. Anyway, I am certainly impressed with the quality of their Balsa, and since we have all lost 'Lonestar' last year, any new sources of Balsa should be noted and kept track of. So if you need Balsa, maybe give Katmar a try. Best regards from Florida,

thats great to know...but too bad they only deal through ebay... unfortunately i stay away from ebay as much as i can.... I had an account that i started using to sell a lot of my stuff, and felt like they were overcharging me to list, a bunch of fees , etc... and secondly they accused me of shill bidding

No, Kathleen is Fred's widow. Nice lady, have known her for years
