He is now. This plane flies so well. Pre-3D, but I did make the ailerons full length when I built the new wings (on the original wings, the ailerons didn't even reach the prop arc), and she now sports a 3W75. Unlimited vertical, and she will torque roll at 1/4 - 1/3 throttle. This is going to be fun.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Your opinion please. I got my hands on a unused tartan can you tell me as best you remember what kind of power it will deliver I am not sure where to best use it.

This is a powerful engine provided you use it with tuned pipes. That is what really brings it to life. Light (no ignition and the extra weight), great idle and transition once adjusted properly, and not overly sensitive to conditions. and does not require high nitro. But, forget about starting it by hand. It will wear you out. You need a very large starter to get it running. It was more than enough power for this 1/3 scale Laser, with the tuned exhaust. I'm just not into the large 2-stroke glow engines anymore.

I think they were Mac pipes. Been many years ago.
