Default Went to the local hobby shop and got suckered!!

Well, not really. But I did spend $400. I bought a Greatplanes FlatOut Reflection biplane, the recommended rimfire brushless motor, a 9amp brushless esc, a 740mah lipo pack, and a DX6 radio setup. I told the owner of the shop how much I loved my Air Hogs Aero Ace and he said this would be a good step up from that. He had recommended a $99 JR radio setup, but I wanted the DX6. Also, he charged what Towerhobbies and Horizonhobbies charges so it was a good deal. Especially considering I can walk into the shop whenever I need help or advice.

My reflection(2x, I figure it'll be good to have spares and this is my first foam build) shipped today from tower.. went with their combo rimfire/8amp/lipo pack... once I get it built I'll be picking up the DX6 at the LHS. At least I think I'll be getting the DX6... one thing that bothers me about it is the lack of expo on rudder.. I'm wondering if that would be a BadThing(tm) with the movement available on the reflection's surfaces....

My DX6 came today, except I wasn't home to receive it--so hopefully I'll get it tomorrow Will let you guys know what I think after I get to play with it some.

I really don't know much about RC planes or the DX6, but I'm an eager and fast learner. Plus I'm bored with on-road and really liked flying my Aero Ace.

Take your time building the plane. Follow the instructions carefully, and you will have one of the hottest 3D planes out there.
