SAVOX SERVOS WITH LiFePo4 BATTERY
Hi,
Anyone using SAVOX servos with LiFePo4 Batteries withou reg?
I´m intend to use my Savox (2x SH-1350, 1x SC-1258TG, 2x SC-1251MG) with ZIPPY Flightmax 700mAh 6.6V 5C LiFePo4 Reciever Pack WITHOUT A REGULATOR!
Specs:
Capacity: 700mAh
Voltage: 2S1P / 2 Cell / 6.6V
Discharge: 5C Constant / 10C Burst
Weight: 41g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 53mm x 30mm x 15mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: Standa JR Servo plug

I use to run Dura-Lite 6.0 volt Li-Ion batteries long ago that were six volt packs. They would peak charge at about 6.4-6.5 volts fully charged (residual surface charge). When six volt servos came out later, I quit using a regulator with those packs(the packs became unavailable on the market and the 7.4 volt pack came out a bit later). At the time I was flying Airtronics and using the 200oz analog six volt only servos in my 40% Cap 232. I think you will be fine, the Savox servos are dual rated servos and the voltage is not that extreame. I just started using Savox servos to experiment with and they seem good thus far.
