Default Hummingbird standard battery pack

Hi guys,

I'm totally new to this forum and new to helicopters.
I'm 17 years old and getting some money together for a hummingbird

all I wanna know is how many mAh the standard NiCD 8.4V Hummingbird Battery Pack is...

I got a lipo-pack of 2 cell's, 8,4 volt and 770 mAh
Is this good enough for the humming?

sorry for my poor english [:-]

Lithium batteries are definitely the way to go. That battery will work fine to get you started, but down the road, you mite want to get a bigger one. I'm running a 2 cell, 7.4 volt, 2100mah and I'm getting around 20 to 25 minutes of hovering.

yeah well the hummingbird and all it's electronics is expensive enough already....

I just want to learn to fly with the lipo-packet before I buy a better one

If you have a stock hummingbird... with the size and weight of a stock... you should be able to do ok... with the 770mah.... Since lipo is lighter then the stock battery...

yes ok but if it's more weight, the stability of the chopper will be better, that's what I think... [:-]
