Default shogun V2 setup question.

on my new shogun, i grabbed all my micro servos for the job, i try to install a sevo for the pitch control under the main gear and it seems my servo needs some major spacers in there for it to line up with the shaft coming down off the collective pitch. anyone else have this problem?

Default RE: shogun V2 setup question.

Merry Christmas - two ways to solve the problem - 10 invert the pitch lever set so that the arm is on the other side or make spacers from 1/4" plexiglass - I made the spacers

watch out for the tail output shaft - the shaft being smooth - the plastic sprocket will slip - try roughing the shaft and use ca to stick sprocket to shaft

good flying

Default RE: shogun V2 setup question.

This is interesting because I didn't need any spacers. When I first put the servo in it "looked" like I would, but I put the rod on the horn and when I put it onto the servo it just lined up fine.

I am using the small servos that came with my JR 6201. They seem to have larger than normal horns. Maybe that is why they fit. The servo body is a little smaller than my other micro (or narco or whatever the smallest size is called) servos.
