Electric BVM aggressor. Powerplant??
Hey guys, Now i know bvm is working on one, but is there anything out there that will work in electric that will give me enough thrust for a successful flight with the aggressor? I have the BVM duct unit, and was thinking of converting that to electric, but what motor should i use?? My problem is that I dont like the efficiency of a gas ducted fan setup.. not too reliable, and so much damn time required for maintenance. Thanks guys

RE: Electric BVM aggressor. Powerplant??
Steve Neu [neumotors.com] has a motor he built just for this size of jet. Its a 1527 1.5 y. It comews with a smooth 8mm shaft so you will have to figure a way to mount the fan. I plan on helping a guy convert a 91 DF using this motor and a castle 110amp controller and a 12s lipo set up. Will post pics when its all done.
